You still see these T-shirts knocking about on tour and indeed independent cricket journalist Gideon Haigh wore one at a fairly recent book launch.

In 2006-7, not only did the Corridor of Uncertainty upset an enormous amount of Australians (not hard) with Big Harvey's article on Jardine and the associated Douglas Jardine Ashes Hero T-shirts, editor Andy Clark was also winding them up (so easy!) by blogging on the Sydney Morning Herald website although these blogs are sadly no longer available on the internet. The comments section was priceless and showed that the Aussies really cannot take a joke or indeed spot a wind-up even if it has "THIS IS A WIND-UP" written in big letters at the top.
